Electric Vehicles

Electric Vehicles (EVs) are automobiles that are powered entirely or partially by electricity instead of traditional internal combustion engines that rely on gasoline or diesel. EVs utilize electric motors and batteries, with many models being equipped with rechargeable battery systems that store electrical energy. There are several types of electric vehicles, including battery electric vehicles (BEVs), which run exclusively on electric power, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), which combine a conventional internal combustion engine with an electric motor and battery. Electric vehicles are designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on fossil fuels, making them a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional vehicles. They also generally have lower operational costs due to reduced fuel expenses and less frequent maintenance needs. The increasing adoption of electric vehicles is supported by advancements in battery technology, government incentives, and the growing availability of charging infrastructure.
