E-Bikes

E-bikes, or electric bicycles, are bicycles that are equipped with an electric motor to assist with pedaling. This motor can be powered by a rechargeable battery which provides a supplementary boost to the rider, making it easier to travel longer distances or climb hills compared to traditional bicycles. E-bikes come in various styles and configurations but generally fall into two categories: pedal-assist, where the motor engages only when the rider is pedaling, and throttle-based, where the motor can be engaged independently of pedaling. This technology allows for a more relaxed riding experience and has made cycling more accessible to a wider range of people, including those who may have physical limitations or prefer a more leisurely ride. E-bikes are often used for commuting, recreational riding, and transportation, serving as a sustainable alternative to automobiles.
