Hawaii is a U.S. state located in the central Pacific Ocean, consisting of an archipelago of 137 islands, with eight main islands being the most significant: Hawaiʻi (also known as the Big Island), Maui, Oʻahu, Kauaʻi, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, Niʻihau, and Kahoʻolawe.
